About the event
I am offering a meditation circle in person for anyone who is interested in sharing a communal space to meditate. It will be partially guided and have a special focus for neurodivergent people. No prior meditation experience is necessary. My goal is to create a space for individuals who feel that they "can't" meditate due to feeling easily distracted, and fidgety. Identifying as neurodivergent is not a necessary criteria to join. Allies and all walks of life are welcome!
This event will take place in person in Asheville, NC. I suggest that you dress comfortably (maybe in layers) and I suggest having water, a journal, blanket, yoga mat, or anything that makes you feel in touch with yourself and compliments your sesnsory system. Backjacks will be provided. Most importantly I suggest coming with a open mind and curious heart.
This event will be held from 6:30pm-7:30pm. You are invited and encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early to set yourself up, get comfortable, and use the restoom. This is a donation based service. The recommended donation amount is $20-40. This can be paid by via Venmo or cash. Venmo information and the zoom link will be provided once you RSVP.
Friendly reminder that this is not a therapy service, this is a community based event!
