DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes! For North Carolina residents I accept Aetna and Optum (United, Oxford, Oscar). For New York residents I accept Aetna, Optum (United, Oxford, Oscar) and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Some plans may vary and medicaid plans are typically not inclusive. I do not accept insurance for psychedelic services at this time.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
Yes, I do! I accept a certain number of client's with sliding scale fees. My sliding scale rate is $100, $120, $140. Feel free to ask me if I currently have any open sliding scale spaces.
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
This will vary per service. A typical therapy session is 50-60 minutes in length. Please see my Service & Offerings page for more details.
DO YOU PROVIDE SUPERBILLS FOR OUT OF NETWORK SERVICES?
Yes! I am happy to provide an out-of-network superbill for our services (individual therapy only).
DO YOU OFFER IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS?
Yes, I offer in person appointments for North Carolina clients in Asheville, NC and New York clients have the option for virtual appointments.
DO YOU PROVIDE COUPLES THERAPY?
I do on a very limited basis. This service is typically geared towards couple who are looking to increase intimacy.
CAN YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS?
No, I am not a doctor, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. I am unable to prescribe medications, however I am happy to provide a referral to someone who can.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME?
Yes, I am accepting new clients at this time. I am primarily accepting new Ketamine clients and ADHD evals. There is a small number of spots available for ongoing therapy.
DO YOU WORK WITH CHILDREN/TEENS?
I do not work with anyone under the age of 18.
DO YOU OFFER A FREE CONSULTATION?
I do! You can schedule a free phone consultation with me by email. The call will generally last anywhere from 10-20 minutes. We will use this call to better understand your needs in therapy, answer any questions you have and review logistics then schedule accordingly.
